To make translations of the messages, do I need to edit 3 times for wikibooks, wikipedia and wiktionary?

There is a way to edit all of them, but it's not easy and could take a long time before it goes live. You would need to create a language file for mg (like the ones at sourceforge), attach that to a feature request at MediaZilla: and wait for a developer to put it live. It's easier to just edit the MediaWiki namespace on each project, but that has the disadvantage that other sites using MediaWiki would not benefit from your translations.
